Over 1,000 Students to be Honored at º£½ÇÉçÇø December Commencement Ceremonies

º£½ÇÉçÇø will celebrate December Commencement ceremonies for more than 1,000 students December 13-14 on the university’s campus in Romeoville.
The weekend begins Friday, December 13 at noon in Sancta Alberta Chapel with a Mass of Celebration for all the accomplishments of our graduates as well as for the love and support of their families, friends, and educators. All graduates and their families, faculty and staff are invited to attend, regardless of faith tradition.
The Afternoon Undergraduate Degree Ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. for the College of Business, the College of Education and Social Sciences, the College of Humanities, Fine Arts and Communications and St. Augustine College degree recipients. Leonimar T. Mapa ’24, BSN will offer the Lasallian Address at both Undergraduate Ceremonies, sharing insights on the University Mission values and their meaning to his education.
The Evening Undergraduate Degree Ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. will honor College of Aviation, Science and Technology, as well as College of Nursing and Health Sciences degree recipients. During the ceremony, Austin J. Kind ’24, B.S., Mathematics and Data Science, will be recognized with the Father Aquinas Colgan Award.
On Saturday, December 14, the Morning Graduate Degree Ceremony begins at 9 a.m. with the College of Aviation, Science, and Technology and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, which honors students receiving certificates of advanced study, master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as graduates of adult accelerated programs

The Afternoon Graduate Degree Ceremony begins at 1 p.m. for the College of Business and College of Education and Social Sciences for students receiving doctoral degrees, certificates of advanced study, and master’s degrees, as well as graduates of adult accelerated programs.
The Reverend Dennis H. Holtschneider, CM, will receive an honorary doctoral degree for his commitment to Catholic Higher Education. For more than 30 years. Fr. Holtschneider has faithfully served vital ministries of the Catholic Church, especially through his extensive and influential research, writing, teaching and leadership in Catholic Higher Education. Former president of DePaul University, he recently served as president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU).
Tickets are limited for the in-person events. The degree ceremonies will be streamed live at by the º£½ÇÉçÇø Television Network and Department of Communications.
